Mass Torts and Personal Injury Attorney Karen Beyea-Schroeder Joins Robins Cloud’s Houston Office

Beyea-Schroeder Brings Diverse, Powerful Background to National Law Firm

HOUSTON – (March 10, 2016) – The law firm of Robins Cloud, a national law firm dedicated to helping people who have suffered serious physical harm due to the negligence of large corporations, is proud to welcome mass torts and personal injury attorney Karen Beyea-Schroeder to the firm’s Houston office. Beyea-Schroeder brings almost two decades of diverse experience to Robins Cloud, with a focus on handling complex and severe medical issues on behalf of clients, such as NFL concussion cases and dangerous drug and medical device cases.

“Robins Cloud is known in the legal world for its focus on getting justice for clients,” said Karen Beyea-Schroeder, attorney. “I’m very excited to be part of a firm that works to aggressively pursue the client’s interests in litigation, rather than just waiting and seeing how things play out. This is a firm that is dedicated to moving cases forward and helping clients get the opportunity to seek justice in the courtroom.”

Prior to 2000, Beyea-Schroeder served in the U.S. Army Judge Advocate General Corps. (JAG), where she worked on various cases ranging from traffic investigations to prosecuting homicides. After completing her military service, Beyea-Schroeder worked on numerous complex medical malpractice cases prior to devoting her talents to dangerous drugs and medical devices in 2009. She brings that extensive background not only to Robins Cloud’s pharmaceutical cases, but also to the firm’s concussion-related NFL cases.

Beyea-Schroeder represented thousands of individuals in litigation against pharmaceutical giants Ethicon, American Medical Systems, Boston Scientific, C.R. Bard, Bayer and others. Most notably, she worked on the Plaintiffs’ Steering Committee in the Zimmer Knee Replacement litigation. She currently serves as co-lead for the Neomedic Pelvic Mesh Product Liability litigation, as well as serving on the Plaintiffs’ Steering Committee on several other Pelvic Mesh litigations.

Beyea-Schroeder earned her J.D. from the prestigious Seton Hall University School of Law and her B.A. from Canisius College.
